Harry Kane goals for Bayern Munich: Stats for England star with German club in Bundesliga, Champions League – Sporting News

Bayern Munich might not be having things all their own way in the Bundesliga title race but Harry Kane is loving life in Bavaria.
After completing a switch to the Allianz Arena, securing a €100 million transfer from Tottenham, Kane is now the team’s new star, hoping to replace Robert Lewandowski after the experiment with Sadio Mane failed.
Kane spent his entire career with Tottenham, joining the club as a nine-year-old, but now 30 and looking to win trophies, he has chosen to change teams permanently for the first time.
The Sporting News brings you all the info on how many goals Kane has scored for Bayern in his first season outside the Premier League.

Kane’s most recent goal came from the penalty spot as Bayern Munich drew 2-2 with Real Madrid in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal.

Kane scored twice on April 27 as Bayern Munich defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 at the Allianz Arena. It was a real moment to savour for the striker: not only did it take the England star to a career-best 42 goals in a single season, the double also saw him reach 400 career goals for club and country. He also became the first player in history to score or assist a goal against every team he has faced in his debut Bundesliga season.

Kane is giving great chase to Robert Lewandowski’s single-season Bundesliga scoring record of 41 in a campaign.
Even if he ultimately falls short of that, Kane is still destined to prove himself a huge success in Germany, with more goals through 10 games than any player in Bundesliga history.
He is the first player to score four hat-tricks in his first Bundesliga season and has set a new record for goals for a player in their first campaign in Germany’s top flight.
