The South Indian superstar, Allu Arjun is one of the most bankable actors in India, but not everyone is aware of the fact that becoming an actor wasn’t his life’s first motive. Despite being in a film family, Allu Arjun wasn’t fascinated by cinema when he was young and was more interested in animation. Once in an interview with Filmfare, Allu Arjun opened up about his professional journey as an actor and admitted that becoming an actor wasn’t his first dream. Instead, the icon star revealed that he wanted to become an animator as a child.

Further, in the interview, when Allu Arjun was asked why he didn’t pursue his passion for animation. The actor revealed that with time he lost interest in it. Later in life, he started developing an interest in acting and hence, decided to become an actor to follow in the footsteps of his father, Allu Aravind and other family members. In his words:

“Initially, I wanted to be an animator. But soon my interest fizzled out.. When you’re born in a film family, you’re influenced by the environment. Wherever you go, you’re bound to return to films. This place has some kind of gravity.”
